Just had septoplasty + turbinates...

Post by Leonbergergirl » Fri Apr 03, 2009 6:59 pm

Went into hospital, left about three hours later.
Instructions: no bending over, no lying down, no nose blowing for a week.
Two days later: no blood, most pain was from airtube down my throat.
ENT found a rather large bone spur way inside in addition to the deviated septum.
So far, so good. I admit i was scared sh....less. If this surgery is in your future,
try it. My surgeon admitted that she had stopped gauze packing just one week
before i came in; very auspicious.

I had it and don't regret it a bit. Take there advice and TAKE IT EASY. I'm still paying of the ER for two visits because I got nose bleeds I couldn't stop. Believe me, you don't want to go there.
