Thanks for giving me hope

I posted about having a titration study because my pressure of 10 was raised to 15.
There was only 8 min of data to support the pressure of 10 in the first study.

I asked if it would get any better..the heart missed beats, the fatigue and moodiness. Some of you said it would get better with time.

Well, another site for sleep apnea where I posted the same message wasn't as supportive.
few people who answered asked me if I was sure my doctors knew what they were doing, and that I should ask for a bipap titration study.
I have only been on the 15 pressure for three days. I think it is still early in my treatment to say it is not helping.

I will only visit this site from now on.

Thanks!

Unfortunately the other sites seem to be run to an extent by rather controlling people who only encourage a certain level of advice to be put out there by posters, which of course is not always going to benefit patients. Cpap.com, while a very legitimate business like any other, really seems to welcome new information, no matter what the source is (within normal 'forum' guidelines of politeness, etc.), which they understand is to the benefit of posters, rather than being seen as "competition". They don't have the patronizing attitude that we should only be told so much, or can only understand so much, and freely welcome different viewpoints. We think it's terrific!
