Pink Eye and Cpap

Post by Froro » Thu Apr 02, 2009 2:03 pm

Okay...another day a new mini dilemma.

My daughter has pink eye. I just returned from the doctor and he looked at me and said. "oh, you have it too...." ugh. It was just starting to itch so I've caught it early.

Given I know how much I touch my face at night. Does anyone know if washing my mask with the regular citrus spray they gave me at the DME is okay or should I be doing something else? (or using something else). I forgot to ask my doctor when I was there as I was kind of in a rush to get home before the rest of the kids got home.

I did pick up that antibacterial gel stuff for everyones hands. Hoping to stem this sucker before the whole family is infected.
These beautiful kids in my avi are my motivation for getting healthy and staying compliant. Need to be around a long time. See my new blog at http://creativekidscakeslife.blogspot.com/ Baking Blog http://feedingtheravenoushorde.blogspot.com

Soak in vinegar/water solution for about 30 minutes to an hour then wash with mild liquid soap and rinse and air dry.

Some say 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water ... I just use 50% each as it does no harm and is stronger solution.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I doubt it matters very much what you wash it with, as long as you wash it. Pink eye is caused by bacteria, and bacteria are readily washed off surfaces with soap (to sort of break their grip on the surface) and friction (to shove them off once they've lost their grip). If you really want to feel secure, you might try a germicidal wipe (e.g., a Clorox cleaning wipe or something) and then a quick wash to get rid of the residue from that.
