1st night of taping question

Post by brenkco » Wed Dec 31, 2008 9:34 am

I just completed my 1st night of taping and made it about 5 hours. I feel that it was very successful and thank you to all for the tips and suggestions. It worked well and was comfortable.

I finally pulled the mask off as my mouth kept filling with air and I couldn't go back to sleep. The swallowing of the air was starting to bother my stomach. Is this somewhat normal ? Is my pressure too high, it is 9.0? Does the air build up in the mouth get better with time? Thanks!

I'm now using the Polident strips and blue tape, which is great! But air does sometimes sit between my teeth and lips, but I'm only aware of it while I'm awake and try to breath it out or swallow. However, when we're asleep do we swallow? If not, wouldn't the air just sit there or eventually get moved around and inhaled.
