When I was at the DME looking at masks, I thought the Breeze looked interesting. I wanted to try it but they didn't have one to try. At least not the nasal pillow one. Hope I get a chance to try it!

I use the Swift Lt. I tried the full face, the comfort Lt., and settled on the Swift. Lots less on my face, I felt choked in the others. I guess its what you get used to. I signed up for the challenge, I would like to try the Breeze...

I also signed up, right after I received the e-mail. I got the e-mail conformation that my information was submitted, but haven't been contacted yet. I hope I get to participate!

I just saw this and signed up as well. My family and I moved to VA in September and as a result I haven't had much time for messing about on the internet. A new house and a job search in a new location will do that to you!

After bypassing my original Swift II, Opus, Liberty and a nasal mask I got at my sleep study, I have been using the Swift LT successfully for the last 3 months. IMO, it is SOOO much quieter than the Opus (the vents on that sound like a wood rasp) and the double wall pillows seal much more effectively. I like the Opus's 360 degrees of movement, the LT's setup does not allow true tri-axial movement. The extra bulk also prevents it from being a good face / 3/4 side sleeper.

So I am interested in the Breeze, however the over-the-head thing scares me a bit, as I leave the LT hose pointed down. I have a home-made hose stand that keeps the hose coming from about 24" over my head. It's not hooked to the headboard or wall, but rather on my side, so that's the best spot for routing.

But if selected, I will give a fair opinion! I am hoping that the Breeze, having it's lateral support up higher and not by the face, will facilitate side / stomach sleeping better than the Swift LT will.

The Breeze is loudest of all nasal pillow except for Headrest and Adams Circuit. It has no "tri-axial" movement or any movement axial or otherwise. It will not allow you to sleep on back at all. It is a good mask but I had to modify it significantly to make it work for me. The Swift ended up working the best for me ... for others, they will just need to try out for themselves as is the case for ALL masks.

I think that the Opus and Swift LT would be a more fair and balanced competition.

I've been on the Swift LT going on 6 months now and really like it.
Although since I have not tried all that many masks I'm will to give the Breeze a try.
I guess If it is a bad a match as you say it's sure to come out in the trial.

Understood.

Nonetheless, that is what is being offered for competition, and finally I get to (hopefully) particpate in one. At least I qualify for one!

I guess that means that we should try again if we never got a confirmation - huh?

Howdy All,

The number of enrollees on this challenge has caused email issues. It looks like confirmations went out in numbers that caused some providers to think we were spamming. We're working on this.

The good news: The form you submitted your enrollment through works. We've got it!

The bad news: Behold the power of recessions. A lot of people want a free Breeze. We've contacted the top 50 (plus alternates) and are waiting to hear back. If we do not receive confirmations from the stragglers soon, additional invitations will go out. However, if you've not received an invitation by now, it is unlikely you will receive one. Sometimes giving stuff away is sad, because there's always a 51st person deserving of a slot in the product challenge that we can't take. My apologies to all who fit this description.

To everyone saying "aw shucks, no breeze" - take heart! The next challenge we do is going to be one really big deal!! Seriously, really, HUGE, big deal. You should get excited even though you don't know what it is yet and I can't say. The mother of all product challenges to this point. lay-awake-in-bed-tonight-wondering-what-it-could-be-like-santa-is-coming-and-you-are-4-years-old-again. Big.

Johnny, apparently loopy from a day of work and sad he can't include everybody who took the time and effort to enroll.
