ComfortGel Medium FF test drive

Postby 2girlsmom on Thu Oct 30, 2008 9:34 pm

I don't really know how this works, but no one really has anything I need as a trade and I hate to ask for money for this mask as it was completely free to me. I guess I ship it to the first person and then that person sends it to the next one? someone help!

I wore it one night and hated it, it gave me a blister. Some really love this thing but I hated it and DME sent me a Quattro as an exchange and said to just dispose of this ComfortGel or something. I am not a smoker and we have no pets unless you count kids  I have two but the toddler is out of her chewing stage so the mask is completely fine. I think I'm a little loopy tonight.

Let me know if someone wants a crack at the ComfortGel medium FF mask.

I just picked this mask up today-it was my doctors choice. I questioned the dme about how it compared to the Mirage Quattro full face mask, and he said, no comparison. I told him I had read reviews on a messageboard how it was rated low(ComfortGel) and users were unhappy with it. Well at least he assured me I had 30 days to try it out then exchange it if I wanted. Will be test driving this weekend!!

ractar, I think I'll stick with the test drive for now. I am pretty happy with my Quattro.

OK I am going to steal Babette's text and this should help us know what to do.

Basically - you send me:

Your real name
Your snail mail addy
Your offline email addy
Your phone number (this is for emergency use only – I keep it confidential)

I'll put you on the list and tell you approximately where you are in terms of getting the mask.

When the person ahead of you on the trial is ready to send it to you, I'll email them your info. They will then email you that it's coming.

You pay the postage to pass it along to the next person. When you're done testing it out, you email me, and ask for the info for the next person on the list. Your only cost is the price of postage to send it along.

Feel free to PM me!

I'm interested in trying out a different mask. The only mask I've ever used is the Quattro, both for my sleep test and here at home. It works pretty well, but I'd like to test the waters just to see what else is out there.

I PM'd you with my details.

Any chance of getting on this list to give this mask a shot? I get sinus infections in the winter and am looking for a better option than my Swift LT to have on hand before I get sick...hope to hear from you...

I am going to mail the mask to CRS tomorrow. After that, here is the list.

I'm asking you to please clean and reassemble the mask when you are done and ready to send it on. After you finish, pm me and I'll let you know where to ship it next. I will be including the Respironics drawstring bag it came in, please put it and the manual back in there when you mail it to the next person. I hope someone else will end up liking it. I personally hated the thing.

Bumping for the forum member who wrote me and said he had one of these he'd like to donate to a test drive. Please PM the original poster to see if she's interested.

Cheers,
