Might we have a forum member who is fluent in Spanish who could post a message and do a little translation?

It'd be nice if we could help..........

Indeed it would be a kind gesture.

Information that is useful when trying so solve these types of problems -

1. Did it ever work? Or is it a new installation?
2. Which version of Encore Pro?
3. Which Operating System (OS) Windows XP or Vista? Service Pack version (ex. XP SP2)
4. Make and model of the equipment?

That should get us started with a direction to go in.

I believe she is trying to say that they are getting errors while reading the patient smart cards.
The card reader led isn't lightening green and giving an error message.

This could be a card reader driver problem and the drivers may need to be reinstalled.

OR if it's a new install, you need to go into the program and set it to use USB not Serial. Jim

Also.......

Is the card in the reader? (correctly inserted)
Are the SQL Server and Service Manager running? Is the arrow in the icon on the task bar red or green?
Is the USB connection on the card reader plugged into a port on the computer motherboard? Can't be plugged into a hub.
Is the Infineer Reader Utility program running?.......and was the proper driver installed for the card reader?
Is the Encore Pro program running?......the patient selected?
From the Interactions Menu, has "Download Data"......."Smartcard Reader" been selected?
