Stomach problems.

Post by admiralross » Wed May 14, 2008 12:50 pm

Hello All!

I've just recently made 6 months on CPAP. However, last 2 weeks a problem with my stomach cropped up. I know that some people on here GERD. The condition is related to Sleep Apnea. Well, I went to the DR yesterday and he gave me Nixium for 2 months. If that doesn't work then the scope does down for a look. Also I was check for H. Pylori. I want to nip this in the bud before it becomes GERD.

I have GERD. I have been on Aciphex, Prevacid and now Nexium. Gerd is not fun and can cause Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD).

I keep Mylanta in my refrigerator, taking some before bed and in the morning.

My wife was put on Nexium and it made her sick. Prevacid upsets her system, but she can keep it down.

You are correct to monitor it and getting an EGD. I have had 3 so far and no Barrett's Disease, so I am ok there. You CAN get the EGD and a colonoscopy at the same time.

Same doctor too. Yep, your cup runneth over. Welcome to old (?) age!!
Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.

I LOVE the SV.
