TRAVEL CPAP IDEAS?

Post by packer » Fri Feb 29, 2008 7:33 am

I use the aflex and aura at home- I like them best- but they take a lot of suitcase room and weight
I am looking for ideas of lighter and smaller blowers- think I will take
the swift for a mask- I do need humidifier though- which { I am thinking]
may make it hard to get a smaller lighter blower
thanks for any help or ideas Packer

hey Packer , the only suggestions i could make is to take what you need. i was out of the country last week. between the T.S.A. , baggage handlers & the federalies my luggage looked like Elvis had performed a gig . plus the T S A had left a calling card inside... ....... things i did to lesson the trauma(had to litterally run through Dallas airport after customs to hop the next connection that was being held for the misses & i.
  • 1.place hose & mask inside a 2 gal ziplock & also did the same with blower-if they swab it they swab it.
2.placed whole shootin match inside a lightweight backpack(easier to navigate in tight spaces
  • 3.also made a tag MEDICAL CPAP laminated & attached w/ bundle tie . 4. NEVER CHECK YOUR CPAP. hope u have a great trip & know what to expect http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/index.shtm
