Be very careful with elbow on Liberty Mask

Post by Idget » Thu Nov 08, 2007 10:57 am

Last night while pulling off the elbow attachement on the Liberty mask I cracked the part that goes into the mask. It it plastic and you are supposed to press on the sides to pull out. Either I pushed too hard on pushed on the wrong part. It cracked. I was able to put a small piece of rubber tape on the crack to hold it in place. I think this piece is too fragile to continually press on it every day to remove. I ordered a new piece for $35!!. I could easily put a drop of super glue on the crack which I'm sure would solve the crack, but I am a bit afraid to do this since I could enhale the glue

Mine cracked after only 6 weeks. DME replace entire mask with new. They get reimbursed from the manufacturer since it is a known defect.
