I just got back from my first visit to American HomePatient. They were replacing my 4.5 ResMed AutoSet II that stopped working. I had a great experience with my local office - shame to hear about your experience.

The good news is you have a very nice machine that is fully data capable. The data is collected on an SD card in the back of the machine.
