How's this Encore report?

Post by hayeswildrick » Wed Apr 04, 2007 6:56 pm

I'd like to get the wisdom of some experienced Encore readers. Here's a typical night for me with my Swift. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. In other words, "How's this look?"

Thanks,
Jeff

By the way, that last hour or so before I wake up is what I call the "chipmunk" or the "blowfish" hour. I tape my mouth, and through most of the night I simply breath through my nose. But, for some reason, during the last hour or two of sleep I find my mouth filling up like a balloon, again and again. It's a weird sensation, and happens mostly when I'm on my back.

Jeff,

Not bad for a start.
You might want to try getting used to shortening (or eliminating) your Ramp time or start at higher pressure. It scored about 3 hypopneas while you were in Ramp.
At some point, you might want to move up 1 or 2 cm and see if it'll cut the number of apneas and hypopneas. Your leakage line has a few "humps" in it, but that's part of getting used to this therapy.

Hang in there.

I agree with Den about moving the pressure up some... I'd try 10.

Also agree that your present numbers aren't bad at all.
