SoClean2 Lesson Learned Hard Way - WARNING for Others

DO NOT BUY SOCLEAN2!!!

Yes I'm a doofus who bought a SoClean2 even after reading the warnings on this forum. Why? Because my doctor is pushing them.

For 3 years, I never used anything except baby wipes to clean my mask and never cleaned my hose. I just replaced them once a year. No problems.

Last week, I noticed my nasal pillows had orange gunk and upon further inspection the mask hose was turning orange. Who knows what the heated hose looks like --so I'll be buying all new stuff.

Lesson Learned!

I suggest you go back to your doctor and demand a refund.

Doctors should not be selling products.

Oh believe me...my doc is getting a piece of my mind! Unfortunately, he gave me a coupon code, but I bought directly from SoClean and they won't take it back.

He didn't sell it. He "highly suggested" it and gave me a coupon code to make an online order with SoClean.

this is the second time in a few weeks that there has been a report of "orange gunk". i don't believe i've seen that reported before.

could someone explain just what that orange gunk is?

I, too am retired, but if memory serves, work was a place where people walked behind you,
and judged you by what was on your screen.
I always hated that.
But I really hated it when I was "concentrating", and my stupidvisor would slap my desk.
"Concentrating" was how I dealt with excessive daytime sleepiness--before cpap fixed it.
