O2 tubing Y valve

Post by wardmiller » Fri Apr 13, 2018 2:44 pm

I use my house oxygen concentrator to alternately feed my nasal cannula or my CPAP hose. I've been switching between the two by plugging the appropriate oxygen tubing onto the output pipe of the concentrator. That is a nuisance and, literally, a pain. I'd like to connect a Y-device with a switching valve to the output of the concentrator and connect the arms of the Y to the appropriate tubing. Then I could just move the valve control to one or the other of the output tubing, thus selecting cannula or CPAP, saving wear and tear of the tubing and my fingers.

Do you use such a valve, or know of one? I've searched the internet and found some gadgets like that, but they don't quite fit my situation.

I once was lost in apnea; but now I'm found--breathing easily all night long.

Thanks for that long, long list. There were a couple that are just what I want, except the input connector was designed for a brass flared connection. A few more looked interesting, but they were designed for fish tanks and would not fit the tubing I have. I'll keep looking.
