Any responses for the so clean sterilizer? Also, do I need to shut the machine off to get up and go to the bathroom?

Yes, you should shut the machine down at night when you get up.

No you don't need to shut off your SoClean to go to the bathroom, it doesn"t clean anything, just remember to rinse it in the stool when you get done using it. Jim

As you may have guessed, many of us consider said gadget to be a useless waste of money and a con job.
Also, there is a possibility it could be harmful to YOU!

If you must use this device, but have concerns about the safety of ozone, please do the following: Open the window in the room where it's running, close the door and don't go into the room while it's running (except to turn it on or off), and run the CPAP for several minutes (with the hose and mask attached) before you put the mask on.

These vague SoClean posts/questions pop up with alarming frequency here at CPAPtalk these days. Gotta be an attempt at creating a viral ad campaign... not a very effective one IMO. SoClean should go back to advertising on late-night conspiracy radio.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

True. Normal cleaning is so effective, most HOSPITALS do it.
The gimmick exists to separate suckers from their money.
Don't fall for the hype--it all comes from the scum that try to sell it.

I guess you didn't watch LankyLefty's youtube video linked above, huh? And he's an actual respiratory therapist. Tsk, tsk - way to waste your money! All you're getting is the smell of ozone - no actual "cleaning" is taking place.
