Does anybody know which machine this is?
Does anybody know which machine this is?
I remember seeing a CPAP about thirteen years ago that was state-of-the-art (for that time). It was made in Germany and it looked like a coffee making machine.
Can anybody tell me which machine that was?

Re: Does anybody know which maichine this is?
You might Google "Weinmann" as it is the only German made cpap that I know of (there could be others though) and see if you can find it searching that way.

Is this similar? It is an oxygen concentrator.

No, it's not. Thanks for trying. It looks like a Mr. Coffee machine with a cylindrical configuration.JDS74 wrote:Is this similar? It is an oxygen concentrator. [Image removed]

Coffee is, by far, the most common treatment for sleep apnea.coffee
Re: Does anybody know which maichine this is?
Well here is an obsolete Fisher-Paykel machine that if you squint enough, might look like a Mr. Coffee. it was discontinued in 2012. I'll keep looking.

Re: Does anybody know which maichine this is?
Thanks, that's not it either. In fact, that's one of my old machines. Furthermore, when my newer machine broke, I used it for several weeks in June and July this year, until my dream station came. It was a great machine in its day!JDS74 wrote:Well here is an obsolete Fisher-Paykel machine that if you squint enough, might look like a Mr. Coffee. it was discontinued in 2012. I'll keep looking.

That's funny! Too bad that's true! It masks symptoms for a while, but it does not address the underlying condition.
Thank you Wulfman...
Many thanks to " Wulfman...," he found what I was talking about. It was not made in Germany, so that's why nobody was able to find it. I think that I saw it on a German website (at the time this machine was current), so that was the source of my confusion. It was a Respironics REMstar Choice LS.

Re: Does anybody know which machine this is?
So you posted the wrong country, didn't provide any picture or correct specs, didn't explain why why you wanted to know. Do you hunt Snipe often? I'm sure you will find other vintage things to see. Jim
I think it's orgional version was a leaf blower.

Re: Does anybody know which machine this is?
This was from memory from over ten years ago. What I seem to remember now, is that there was something new (at that time) about this machine that delayed its approval in the U.S., but it was approved for sale in Germany. Whatever was new then is old hat now.Goofproof wrote:So you posted the wrong country, didn't provide any picture or correct specs, didn't explain why why you wanted to know. Do you hunt Snipe often? Re: Does anybody know which machine this is?
Ah yes, the machine that took my sleep apnea virginity. Picked it up second hand from a guy who wrecked his car when he fell asleep at the wheel. I think it was $100 and included a passive humidifier. Tough to forget your first.
