Need a clip for F&P Pilairo Mask

My dog ate my clip on my new Pilairo mask and I can't find one for sale anywhere. I don't get new headgear for another 5 months. I hate to buy new headgear just for a clip. I would trade for a clip. Just let me know what you need and I might have it or I will buy it from you. My dog has never touched one of my masks before so it was a shock for him to do this but I normally tuck it under my pillow, so maybe it was just more tempting than normal.

Could you post a picture of it, in case a clip from some other mask might work?

Hook may be a better word for it. It is a tiny hook that attaches to the headgear and then hooks to the mask. I don't think anything else will work. I have an assortment of mask parts and nothing else will fit. I just hoped someone here might have old headgear that has a clip. I don't think the clip will wear out as long as it is kept out of the dogs mouth.

you can get a new headgear for 40$ from amazon, overnight, or 20$ from ebay, I mention this since headgear wearing out is my biggest replacement item.

failing that, perhaps you can fashion a new hook out of a bit of bent wire, for temporary usage?

I thought about a cable tie but that is just a bit rough on the face. I might try some covered wire. I really like this mask.

Can you look at the corresponding clip for a F-P Oracle mask and see if it could be modified to fit.
If so, I have a jar of them. You might also need to part that attaches to the headgear.

It looks as if the F-P Eson mask uses a similar clip. You might want to edit the subject line to include those as well.

Sadly those won't work. It looks like the Oracle has very similar headgear to the old Pilairo mask and that hook can't be removed. I need the hook for the new style Pilairo headgear. I wish it would work. I have one of those. The Eson looks different to me. I don't think it will work.

I've got some double sided velcro strips that would probably work, they're usually for bundling up wires and stuff, with soft bits on one side and very tiny hooky bits on the other. you could probably pick up something like that at a local office supply store.
this looks similar: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/6 ... -Assorted/ the fine hooky side will hook to the headgear. trim one down, hook it on one side, loop it through the mask, and hook it on the other side of the headgear loop.

it's not quite as convenient as the real thing, but cheap and probably easy to find as a work around.

Stormy, If I read F&P website correct the part number for the Piliaro Q is 400HC588.
