Rotech return policy

Post by mibbim » Fri Sep 09, 2016 12:17 pm

Anyone dealing with Rotech before? I am new to cpap. I used the local Rotech due to they are in network for my insurance. I returned the bi-pap and Amara full mask yesterday. They only took back the machine and modern back. Even they told me I can return the equip within 30 days. When I asked why they didn't list the mask, filter (the two brand new one is a seal package), tub, and water chamber (from the machine), they said my insurance will pay for it. I know I have $250 deductible, so eventually I have to pay it. But I would order a machine and different mask later when I see the sleeping doctor and have more info about this thing. I hope to switch the bi-pap to apap since it's more flexible from what I have read on line. It seems the regular one line cpap store allows you try the mask for several days, but not Rotech? I just want to make sure they didn't try to mess me. Any good cpap store can let you try different masks without charging you?

It pretty much depends on the individual dealer (and/or your insurance). Btw, it's 'sleep' study (and doctor), not 'sleeping'. Many dealers don't have more than a couple of masks on hand, but if you know what you want and your doctor writes a script for it, they'll order it... it's usually best if the MD writes a script for "mask of patient's choice".
