So, I'm new here and suspect I may have sleep apnea. I don't snore, but I've had a few sweaty awakenings feeling like i wasn't breathing for a short time. My dad has sleep apnea. I do not have a CPAP machine, and I haven't had any official sleep tests thus far. I bought a cms50D+ and logged my first session overnight. I noticed in Sp02 review that there are little lines at the bottom of graph.. I am under the impression these lines indicate an error in connection or recording? Is this correct? And if so are there any indications like this when the data is imported to Sleepyhead? I haven't been able to find them if so. I noticed in sleepyhead it had lots of events regarding my pulse. I don't know if this is cause for concern, lastnight I was a little more on edge, waking up to watch the meter periodically and stressing if everything is normal. Anyway I have the graphs up in both spo2 review and sleepyhead, I'll include some screenshots if y'all don't mind taking a look and giving some tips on what I'm looking for. Session is 8 hrs a believe. Thank you.
Im not sure how to upload pictures on this site so I'm using photobucket.
EDIT: Here's imgur links, when i imbed the images they are huge so here's the link to the images.

What i am seeing here....
1. You're o2 isn't desating all night down to dangerous levels. You do, however, drop down to the 88% mark quite often. Certainly worth getting a sleep study.
2. Your heart rate looks to be quite high. We're all different, but my heart gets into the lower 40's at night, your's appears to hover quite a bit higher. Not sure if this is good or bad, just an observation.
3. Just based on looking at this, you quite likely have sleep apnea.

Thank you for the input. I did notice my heart rate was higher than I would expect. And i'm not sure if that's my normal, or if the stress of all this made it higher than normal. I would wake up and see 92 and feel like it was too low and it would start making me worry. I was also sick with a cold and stomach bug last week, I feel like I am still trying to fully recover from that mess.
Thank you again, I'll look into sleep studies in my area.

Thumbnails are available but you have to be logged in to get them along with all the address choices.
Thumbnails at the bottom of the box of addresses.
Click "Large Thumbnail" first then copy the last line of the box of addresses and paste it in the body of your text and you will get a decent size image that we can click on to enlarge if we need to.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

The big drop in O2 at around 12:30 is most likely an artifact caused by trying to get comfortable. It looks like you were getting to a deeper stage of sleep in the 02:00 - 02:30 range although there appears to be some obstructions occurring during that period. 02:30 - 05:30 seems reasonably normal. The big spike in heart rate at 05:40 indicates that something woke you up or at least tried to. 07:30 to the end shows you trying to achieve a deeper stage of sleep but you heart was suggesting that it was time to get up. It is most likely sleep wake junk.
In SPO2 review the marks at the top of the O2 graph and at the bottom of the pulse graph indicate events. The default settings for scoring tend to give many events. You should talk to a doctor to find more suitable settings for scoring and then you can adjust the scoring in SPO2 review and get a better event picture.
SpO2 96+% and holding...

there are definitely issues worth investigating further, however one *cannot* diagnose apnea via oximitry data.
also, what makes you think you don't snore?

No but she would hear me sometime in the last 8 years. It's a non point anyways because you can still have apnea whether you snore or not

true, but I'm always a bit amused at people that proclaim that they "don't snore!" like, how would they know? they're asleep... and just because they don't snore all the time, or wake someone up with it... doesn't mean they don't snore. that's all
