New Mask came today

I bought a BlueMojo from amazon 3 days ago, and to my utter surprise it came today.

What do you all feel about the this mask.. I have fitted it and it seems like it has a good seal. I can see how it might be hot around the jell area but I will find out tonight.

Another surprising thing is Amazon shipped it with the head gear without a prescription (RX).. I have been jones'ing over new masks on other sites but all require a RX.. I wonder how Amazon is getting away with it.

I have been able to get my AHI below 5 the past 4 nights with the old mask. I think I am going to be one of those types that It will take sometime for me to feel the full effect of the Cpap in my waking hours. I can tell now that I wake up easier and find myself less tired in the afternoons at work.

I believe that's quite an old mask that may have been updated... I seem to remember it looked on paper very good years ago, but in person was not necessarily so, but I may be wrong of course. The point is it'll either work for you or it won't, so let us know how it goes.

It sounds like your therapy is going well, because your AHI is lowering. Good for you!

Finding the best mask is kinda like finding the perfect pair of shoes because you might have to try many, many styles before you find the best one. I hope the new one works out for you.

Update: about 3 hours into the Mojoblue mask and it was hurting my forehead and bridge of my nose. I proceeded to remove it and use my older mask. I guess I shall keep searching. I think the problem is of the waste of money to find the perfect mask.

You don't even want to try a larger size on the Mojo?

I'm not sure that would help anything, the problem is that it hurt the bridge of my nose and forehead. I think it's more of a design problem.
