How to quit an internet forum.

Post by carbonman » Tue Jan 19, 2016 12:43 pm

Don't post a thread saying that you're leaving. People will often try to drag you back in.
Sign out of the forum.
Or, if the forum has a "delete" option, take advantage of it.
Do not return to the forum and find other things to do.
Pm the mod. And ask to block you
Type in a new password that won't be easy to remember.
Find something else to replace it......... you are only finding it difficult because it is a habit..... so break the habit with a better habit...........
Go for a bike ride.

Hope this helps.

Also your feet will not fit the pedals
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

when you get the right treatment, get better and get a life again. Thats how I am. When my treatment is going well, last place i wanna be is on a internet message board talking about myself and my health problems. On the other hand, when something goes significantly wrong...and it has in the past and Im having trouble getting back to normal, I find myself perusing these kinds of boards.

People who are well dont hang out on medical Internet message boards very much, if at all.
Id be dead by now if I didn't use my CPAP gear every night.

Now why would you say something like that?

I thought he was just trying to be funny using a play on words, but it could be something more devious

Now see, that's how we get started on these conversations that deteriorate - somebody trying to be funny, someone else trying to analyze it, and someone else trying to explain it. JUST IGNORE IT!

I totally agree. But I'm hungry; time for a nice omelet.

Sometimes just letting things slide (unless they are totally odious) is the most prudent thing to do.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

And stop dancing with people who aim at your toes.

It is hard to miss the toes when dancing with a frog
