pillows
Which pillow is best? Form fit or cpap fit? I'm new to the forum, to using a cpap (I use a full face mask and sleep on my side) and have degenerative disc disorder in my neck (and lower back). I need to find the best pillow I can, to reduce or eliminate as many hindrences to good sleep as possible. Help?

Re: pillows
I believe they are much the same. The Formfit was a later revision. I have the Formfit and I am very happy. It will be firm but I sleep better on it than I ever have and it is where you can shape it for your mask. This thread from the maker may give you an idea of the changes made to it. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=108688&st=0&sk=t&sd ... eat+pillow

Re: pillows
Several of us wear soft cervical collars in bed to help keep the airway in a good position and help keep the jaw from dropping during sleep. I don't have any neck or spine problems, but wonder if a collar would help you with both CPAP and your disc disorder?vesseyfamily2 wrote:Which pillow is best? Form fit or cpap fit? About pillows, they are a matter of personal preference. I have tried several designed for CPAPers. Eventually put them all in the closet and use a plain, somewhat thin, pillow. When sleeping on the side, sleep to the edge of the pillow so that the mask sticks out in open space.

I agree with CF... I got mine as a free test sample six months ago and like it a lot.chunkyfrog wrote:I recommend mine. (See link in my signature)

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
