Just got machine. Switching to Hmo from ppo??

Post by Jake00 » Sun Dec 27, 2015 11:54 pm

So I just got my machine last month The place that sold it to me explained to me that the insurance (bobs) would pay for over a series of months. I have yet to see a bill or any sort of claim on the insurance . I am home are switching to a HMO at the first of the year. I know all insurance plans are different but does anyone have any experience with this . I'm wondering if I'm going to see a bill at some point

Only the insurance can tell you.
Or your benefits manager at work.

Before you actually switch, check with your current insurance company. It may be that you may be stuck with either the total due (over priced amount) or the machine will be terminated and you'll have to start over and all the rental paid so far will be lost.

Or your HMO will be as truly evil as some we have seen, and either stick you with a brick or no cpap coverage at all.
In which case, you will be well informed to shop cpap.com.
