I got an airsense 10 about 6 weeks ago, took a few nights to really get used to, but holy cow, waking up alert and ready to go is really cool..... I'm currently using the full mask that I used at the sleep lab. I'm starting to experiment with sleeping on my side, but the mask then leaks . Are there masks out there designed for side sleep?
Thanks,
jake

Go to our sponsors web site and put in "side sleeping" or active sleeping. That is how I found the Activa LT nasal mask which I used for 6 years. I am currently using a cloth mask. Know also that head gear comes in different sizes and that can make a big difference. When you buy/are given a whole set (mask frame, cushion, headgear, forehead pad) the head gear is always medium. If you want a different size you have to order it separately. I just bought a small headgear from our sponsor, it worked, so after that I ordered it thru the DME so insurance would cover it.

Any mask...if fitted right...can be used for side sleeping. Personally I use a full face mask since I tend to breathe out of my mouth occasionally. I sleep about 90% on my side.Jake00 wrote:I got an airsense 10 about 6 weeks ago, took a few nights to really get used to, but holy cow, waking up alert and ready to go is really cool.....
