Jedimark need Dreamstation data for SleepyHead software

Post by grayghost4 » Thu Dec 24, 2015 11:14 am

Mark is trying to get back to codeing Sleepyhead to work with the Dream station.
He needs data and reports from people that have the software from Phillips, Encore software and the Dream station.

Things like documented settings changes, with each setting toggled and the most recent xxxxxxx.001 file name noted next to it would help, then a copy of that data.

anyone that can help PM me or add to this post
It will take some effort on your part to make change to the machine ... print the Encore report ... and include it in a folder with the data from the SD card ... and do it over several time with different changes, into different folders.
and then compress the data and send it off to Mark.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Have you been in touch with him recently? I hope he's doing well.

Sounds like a worthy project. I have done beta testing on software. Too bad, but it won't be until mid Jan (or later!) and even then haven't decided on Dreamstation.. But good luck to him. Let us know if he gets this help.

Got my fingers crossed...a lot of us would be in dire straights without Mark.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

There must not be a lot of Dream station owners here, to get sleepyhead for the Dreamstation should be a priorty in my eyes.
Dreamstation has a lot of promise after looking on Utube video.

Not having Sleepyhead on there may make the difference of whether people get the Dreamstation. Let's say, as in my case, it's between 1 or two other machines. I really like the design and travel friendly features.

Should we just start a gofundme page to get him a machine to tinker with?

I would be better to have people with different models/ version (cpap, auto, bipap,ASV,ST,etc) willing to make changes to there machines and record and organize data and sent it to Mark.

It would require saving a screen of the setup of your machine from Encore software, and matching it with the XXXXXXX.001 file from your card
Then changing the pressure and doing the same thing again, then changing the mode from apap to cpap and saving again, and doing the same with each different parameter … one at a time … humidity … hose temp ….ramp … auto start … and stop .. etc. (as per Mark's needs )
each time matching the screen with the new XXXXXXXXX.001 file from your data card

this will allow Mark to find out how everything is stored in the file.

so it would require you to have Encore, and learn/know how to change settings on you machine and also be kinda computer literate (I don't think it would require you to use the machine with those setting)

depending on your relationship with your Dr. and DME … if they are monitoring you closely … they might not like you changing things. So I would understand if you did not want to.

So far I have only heard from one person.

PM if you think you can help
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Hi - I have a dreamstation & am using EncorePro2 - have about a month's worth of data from SD card (copied to folder each day).
Would it help?
I can also do specific changes and capture the card data.

Regards,
John
