old respironics bi-flex pro2

Post by arctic » Wed Dec 23, 2015 7:01 pm

I have an old Respironics Bi-flex pro2 that I would like to keep as a back up, I love this old machine but it just won't start any more, I get an error code? E48 when trying to start it. Does anyone have any idea what that number is?

ERR_PV2_sensor_railed

Defective or clogged pressure tube or defective pressure sensor both of these
are internal parts.

Contact http://www.acbio.com and see what they have to say.
They're an authorized Philips/Respironics and ResMed repair facility and a member of this forum.
A number of the forum members have had very good experiences with them.

Pretty old machine, that doesn't make it bad, it's a Tank! If you are mechanically inclined, you might open it up,and check for cracked or leaking hoses to the sensors. In the past some hose connectors have broken. J B Weld and Crazy Glue, can work wonders. Jim

Thank you for replies. I love the old tank and would use it instead of Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto if it would work again
