good day to all. i was diagnosed for moderate osa on nov 2012 unfortunately due to financial difficulties (and lack of insurance) i was able to buy a cpap machine only this month december 2015. after the test my sleep doctor prescribed me a pressure of 7 cm H2O or 5 to 10 cm... however after using my auto cpap machine (dreamstation respironics) for several days i noticed that the 90% pressure is almost always at 10 (1-day 10 ... 7-day 10...30-day 9.7 ). with ahi of 1-day 2.4...7-day 1.8...30-day... 3.5 does this mean that i need to increase the pressure of my cpap? if theres a need to use a higher pressure, do i need to go back to my sleep doctor and undergo another therapeutic trial (sleep test) or would it be fine if i change the pressure on my own?
on a different note, what is the best data reading program compatible with dreamstation? does sleepyhead works with dreamstation?
your help is highly appreciated. thanks.
newbie question re follow up study
Re: newbie question re follow up study
The 90% means that 90% of the time your pressure was at 10 or below. You definitely should be able to change the pressure if necessary, but, In my opinion you should leave it alone. Unfortunately your machine is not supported by Sleepyhead software.

Re: newbie question re follow up study
I don't think raising the low pressure by 1-2 cm will be life threatening... certainly not for a few days to see how things go.
