As long as your machine is set for FF Masks, there should be no pressure difference between FF Masks.

What does Sleepyhead software tell you? .... feel is a very vague.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

I understand what you about the swivel and the air direction ... but you will get accustom to that.
My objection to the simplex was the vent ... which I loosely covered with a resmed filter. Which defuses the vent air without obstructing it.
I also added one of my wife’s makeup pads as a forehead cushion

I think there are slight differences in the Vent Rates and Dead Space between the two masks. This could account for the difference in "feel". I've used both masks with the same settings obtaining similar results with either. Overall, I found the Simplus to be slightly more comfortable.

The filter over the vent openings defuses the stream of vent air so it does not blow on my Wife or on my arm or hand if they are in the vicinity.

I gives the same results as you get with the Pilaro Q which comes with a defuser over the vent. by attaching it LOOSELY over the vent it does not cut down the venting ... exactly the same leak rate with and without the filter.
