Odd noise coming from machine

Post by tuzacat » Thu Dec 17, 2015 3:01 pm

Early this morning I heard an odd noise that sounded like a muffled beeping alarm. At first I thought it was coming from my neighbor's house. It didn't last very long. After a bit it happened again. Same thing, short duration. The third time it happened I realized it was coming from my machine. Nothing looked different and I have no alarms set on it. I turned it off, took out the humidifier chamber, and put it back in a again. It didn't happen again before I got up this morning. My AHI was zero this morning. Does anyone have any idea what it could have been? I think I'll unplug it and plug it back in again before I mask up tonight. Thanks for any thoughts you may have! Best, Tuza

Which machine model?

I think she is using the PR S1 960 model. It has a lot of weird alarms sometimes.

Do the power reset...if it happens again...I don't know what to tell you if it isn't giving you any messages.
Look on the screen to see if it has any messages on the screen if it happens again.

Sorry, Chicago Granny, I thought my machine was in my info but Pugsy is right about what I'm using. Bilevel, ASV. I probably didn't get to the screen fast enough because I wear glasses and can't see the print on the screen without them or getting super close to it. The beeping didn't last long enough for me to get that organized. I reset it. Let's see what happens tonight.

Well, no weird noises last night coming from the machine - so, hopefully, that was a fluke and the reset resolved it. Thanks for your responses!
