New Dreamstation Auto & Amara View mask

Hi everyone ,
I am new to this board and I just got a new dreamstation auto and Amara View FFM (its really a hybrid) from my DME. I'm on Medicare so I am happy with my new machine
With the exception of software the dreamstation is great, heated humidifier and hose, nice quiet machine.
The Amara view mask is basically a dremwear nasal pillow with a mouthpiece attached.
I cant get it to seal, but I think it might be a good mask for someone with lower pressure. My pressure is 15 and my machine is set up as a CPAP not on auto.
I'm calling DME today and trading it for resmed f10.
Last night I used my old swift II and my AHI was about 10.
I'm told I chipmunk cheek when I hit REM so had large leakage number
I'm getting an Airfit p10 today and will work on mouthleak problems.
I wonder if anyone could PM me some info on were I can get some descent software Sleepyhead does not work with dreamstation though I hear there working on it

As of right now the only software that works with the new DreamStation machines is the latest Encore Pro version...2.17.xxx.
Just released a few days ago....so check your private messages for more information on obtaining Encore Pro.

Also if you need some hints on using the AirFit P10 nasal pillow mask...that is my current mask so I am familiar with it.

Welcome to the forum. Let me know if you run into trouble with Encore...it can be a bitch to manage.
Windows only software..there is no Mac version available and to use it on a Mac someone would have to install some sort of virtual Windows on the Mac.

Version 2.18.xxx

The Amara View has complicated head gear with 5 adjustment straps. It is not easy to get it right. Make sure you are putting it on correctly by watching the You Tube video. I was ready to ditch this mask but the video revealed that I was not putting it on right. Once I got it right, the leaks stopped.

Mine says Version 2.17.8.0
but where I got it from lists 2.18 but it isn't showing 2.18 within the software.
What does yours say when you open Pro?

My Encore Pro says 2.17.8.0 when I open it

Yes...that's what mine says and you got yours from where I got mine and the actual link that we click on says 2.18 but I think they just shortened it for the link naming...sort of rounding up...they have done that in the past for other versions.
I was just wondering if JDS74 used the same link that I used and thus thought he had 2.18 or if he actually has 2.18. He needs to open Pro and check for version to make sure.
