Resmed s9 settings for autostart, autostop

I have the clinician's manual. I went thru that and cannot find the following. I am assuming these features are controllable.

1. Currently my s9 auto shuts off air when the mask is fully open after about a couple of seconds. Where do I disable this? Would be most helpfule if you can show the full menu selection sequence starting from normal operation.

2. Similarly I have the feature that starts the machine automatically when the mask is put on and I start breathing. Where is this disabled.

It's called "SmartStart" and the only choices are off and on.
It controls both the auto on and the auto off features.
If you turn it off the machine won't come on until you push the button to start it and it won't turn off until you push the button again to stop it.

If you enable SmartStart, the patient’s device will start automatically when the patient breathes into the
mask and stop automatically when they remove their mask.

[by dictatioin] Pugsy, thank you very much for the very prompt response. I thought it was in the clinicians menu. Yes it is very easy to change. My goal was to just make the auto shut off turned off. Obviously just getting one of them done is not possible. I was hoping that if the auto shutdown is turned off and if I have a leak that was causing my machine to auto turn off I could verify it that way. In the last couple of days I had mentioned in another thread here that I've seen my machine turning off by itself. Of course the tech people would say that's because of massive leak. I was hoping I could simply change the setting and rule that case out. Unfortunately the problem is, that it wont turn back by itself so that bothers me because if it goes down it will be off for a much longer time, before I wake up and manually restart it. Anyway thank you very much for the information.

I suppose if they can see any indication the machine turned off from the SD card data, and id they do not see massive leaks prior to the event that should be sufficient proof. But I have noticed they are reluctant to replace the machine; perhaps the manufacturer reduces their profits based on that too

Which S9 "Auto" the AutoSet or the Escape Auto?

If it is the AutoSet you can see for yourself if there was a large leak prior to the machine turning itself off using the software and looking at the leak graph.
If it is the Escape Auto you are out of luck as it doesn't gather leak details.

Pugsy, My apologies. I was incomplete in my tag line. Mine is Resmed S9 Elite. I am pretty sure it shows the detailed leak data; but dont know anything about if it shows on/off. My pure guess, if the off is from a sw crash, most likely the recording would have stopped at about the same time.
