Got my new CPAP Yesterday, a ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset. I was considering delaying the switch because I currently have a bad cold and had just spent a restless night in my emergency FFM. But once I got it home thought what the hell, just go for it. The air flow was different from my DeVilbiss but I got used to it within a few minutes and didn't wake up to pressure changes and mask leaks at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. like I usually do. Breathing really seemed to be easier all around.
My AHI over the past 30 days averaged 2.81 but this morning I got up to a 0.7. ZERO POINT SEVEN? With a cold and in a FFM I hate? Dayum!
Yes, it's only one night's worth of numbers but WHOA! It sure was encouraging.
Looking forward to my first download to SleepyHead in a week or so.
