brand new win10 machine purchased yesterday while they try to fix laptop. I downloaded SH and got those DLL messages. I downloaded the C++ ditributable but when I look the MSVCP120 and MSVCR120 both have longer names. Did I download the wrong C++. I know you've answered something about this in the past but I can't find it and search doesn't find DLL.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
When you go here
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=40784
and click on download it takes you to a page where you have 3 choices. I am going to assume your new computer is 64 bit and you would choose the middle one.
You download it and then you install it just like you would any other file but don't try to put it in SleepyHead.
Just install it like you would any other program to your computer...double click, etc and let it do its thing.
Once it is installed to wherever Microsoft puts these things then SH knows where to look.
I don't know which one you got...or if you did the install correctly but this normally covers any missing dll messages.
Now if you have already done this and you try to open SH and you still get a missing dll message it may be that you are trying to open SH from within the zipped folder...so make sure you have SH unzipped and go in there to use the application file to open/launch SH.
If none of this helps...post back with exact wording to the message you are getting and we will try to sort it out.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
keeps telling me to chose a folder. when I tell it to write in the C:\programs\slee...... folder, it tells me it is not empty and contains no SH files. I try again and GL bombs.
Seem to have partial solution. Backup from my laptop from several days ago (laptop is in the shop so I went and backed up). But when I click IMPORT. it is still asking me to select a folder and then I cllck import again GL bombs.

What is telling you to "choose a folder"?
What are you doing or trying to do when you get this message?

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
when I would click import, it was asking for a folder. but I think I may have solved issue - new machine SD slot took a little tweaking before it finally recognized the SD and read it - so the message may have been asking where the card was and not where to put it. Here is quick shot from today and notice the last line - that has been a problem all along and I'm on my 3rd mask in 4 months. Appt with RT 12/17 for another shot at it.
The last time you used your ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV...
was last night (on Tuesday, December 1, 2015)
You had an AHI of 0.68, which is considered pretty darn good
You machine was on for 7 hours, 21 minutes and 59 seconds.
Your mask is leaking way too much.. Talk to your CPAP advisor.
PS: I di do the C++ download just to be sure.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
Sometimes SleepyHead's idea of "way too much" and real life aren't the same.
Look to see where it says how much % was spent above the red line leak threshold....see what it says and then let's decide if it is "way too much".
You will need to go to the daily detailed report page and look on the left below the statistics...probably will need to scroll down a bit.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
Well as bad as that is...you would still get Mr Smiley face on the machine for leak control because ResMed doesn't have Mr Frowny face show up until you hit 30% or more of the time in big leak.andycole wrote:Time over leak redline 24.686%
Look at the actual leak line on the graph...is it between 24 and 30 L/min most of the time or are you way above that?
When you get over 30 L/min leak then the data may or may not be accurate due to leaks maybe affecting sensing and reporting. Meaning some events may or may not happen and not get flagged.
I wouldn't panic over a single night of bad leak but if it happens every night then I would want to try to fix it.
Are you waking up because of the leaks are sleeping right through them.
You might want to post a typical/usual night's detailed graphs so we can see what you are seeing.
If you don't know how to post images of your reports it's explained here
https://sleep.tnet.com/reference/tips/imgur
and this thread has examples of what we like to see (we don't need all those graphs that SH produces).

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
y'all beat me to the punch. Imgur was something I was starting to do on my laptop when the screen dimmed so it was almost impossible to read. I'll try that later since I'm exhausted from running back and forth to computer store and working on getting SH working properly. And yes, the large leak occurs all the time and I see numbers over 100 in the leak rate graph all the time. The leak issue has been a problem since day 1 - see my previous posting about 'mask popping up into my mouth'. That is why I have now been considering a whole-face mask. While my AHI seems fantastic, I'm sure things would be much better if I didn't have mask issues. Oh, I think I may now be sleeping thru the leaks - they used to wake me up. A comment from my daughter to my pulmonologist (I have copd) about snoring is what started the whole sleep study thing. She also has apnea and uses a device.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
funny thing with imgur and SleepyHead. The F12 keep on my laptop is the screen brightness key and when I pressed it in SH is when my screen went dim and won't come back. this time I used the pull down to take the screenshot. now to read your notes on what to send.....

I use the Windows Snipping Tool to do my screen shots...it's easier for me and I can easily crop what is not needed.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
Since this will be my first attempt, I'm all the threads carefully. On laptop, F12 was to turn brightness up it is F11 to turn it down. Not sure what those keys are on this keyboard so not taking any chances.

Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
Some laptops are screwy and you have to hold down the blue "Fn" key to make F12 be F12, instead of brightness. (or something similar.) Got a manufacturer name and model number for the laptop?andycole wrote:Since this will be my first attempt, I'm all the threads carefully. Pugsy - too tired last night for imgur but printed their documents and glanced at your download stuff - maybe later today. Re: Pugsy - need help with SleepyHead
If most of your nights have leaks less than 10% I don't know that I would worry so much about them if I was sleeping well and feeling decent.andycole wrote:Time over leak redline 3.990%
4% of 5 hours is about 12 minutes which isn't horrible by any means.
Now if this is a rare fluke and most of the nights you see time over red line in the 20% or higher numbers...then I would make a conscious effort to try to remedy the situation.
