I'm glad you asked that question. I've been wondering that myself.

Do a ponytail at night and put it through the straps in the back, or use a large hairclip. How about pigtails?

When my hair was long I braided it at night. It kept it nice and tangle free during the night too.

With the Oracle 2 mask, there doesn't need to be any headgear at all.
There are other issues, though.

I used a ponytail, just until the headgear was on, then let it go.
This worked quite well until this spring.
Right before my breast surgery, it dawned on me that my hubby was too inept to style a pony,
and I would be unable to raise my arms for several weeks, so I hacked it short.
It is growing out now, and I just tuck it behind and over the straps

I'll have to do pigtails with mine. My headgear crosses right where my ponytail would be.

I use a satin sleep bonnet/cap I got from Sally's Beauty supply which helps keep your hair from the frizzies and incidentally helps with hair from getting tangled in the cpap gear.

My hair is the tail bone length and I sleep in a bun. Well I don't sleep in a bun but I style my hair into a bun.
