Selling used Airsense 10 Autoset.

Post by biz64 » Tue Sep 15, 2015 3:12 pm

Selling a used Airsense 10 Autoset. The machine has 162 hours. I'm including a new water tub, new tubing, and new filters. It also comes with the SD card and carry case. The machine is in excellent condition and still has the plastic cover over the screen and knob. I'm asking $375 shipped in the U.S. Let me know if you have any questions.

Not a dealer. I'm an RT, work as a consultant for a physician group and used to consult for a DME company. I buy equipment when I find a good deal to re sell to make some extra cash. I also deal with a lot of reps so I'm able to get equipment through them sometimes. Lots of times I buy equipment in bulk when a company is liquidating. Anyway, it's hit or miss. Sometimes I don't have anything for months and sometimes ill have 3 or 4 machines at a time.

If you say so. Just curious, do you know of any other part time dealers on here?

I recently bought a lightly used backup PR autoSV 960p from Biz64 (using PayPal). He shipped the machine UPS (with the low hours I requested) at a price I was willing to pay - not a killer deal like my previous 960p, however a good deal, none-the-less. This was all done after about a week of searching at Biz64's expense, which I greatly appreciate. When it arrived it was exactly as promised and very clean (cigarette smoke was deal breaker for me, and there was none). I'm happy to report after a week of testing that the ASV works perfectly.

The only small hitch at the end of the deal was some bickering over who would pay the shipping fee and the 3% PayPal fee... we split the difference, so I wasn't too upset. Nobody likes surprises, so I think he took my advice and cleared up these issues for this thread's offering. I do strongly recommend that you discuss all this stuff at the beginning, long before you cut a deal (the same applies to any other seller).

At the conclusion of the deal, I suggested he go 'low key' on listing multiple machines/masks so he wouldn't upset the owners of this forum. So far, it looks like he is making an effort to do that. Will every deal with Biz64 be this smooth? I can't say for sure, but time will tell if he can successfully meld into this admittedly difficult environment. Personally, I think there is a legitimate need for honest 'wildcat' CPAP sellers on this forum... some folks just can't afford retail CPAP or aren't able to deal with the official medical outlets. Anyway, I can say Biz64 has been honest with me in our dealings. Notably, he hasn't blown up in anybody's face yet - at least as far as I can tell - soooo, it's refreshing to see he is able to can deal with the inevitable pressure (unlike the young dealer before Biz64 who started calling people A-holes etc and stormed off in a huff) This is a TOTALLY unsolicited reply BTW.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
