Quick question about alcohol

Post by AMK » Mon Feb 23, 2015 3:38 pm

What changes would you expect to see in Sleepyhead when alcohol's involved? I don't drink per se but I have been known to swill kombucha before bed and lately I've been drinking some locally brewed stuff that might have a higher alcohol content.

Various people have reported various results.......some OK and some NOT so OK.
For the most part, I "quit" about 25 years ago (it was getting too expensive), but now and then will have a little wine or a beer with some pizza or something like that. It's so infrequent that I really don't notice much effect.

You will probably be less concerned about the sleepyhead results.

Alcohol before bed (by at least a few hrs) can interfere with Cpap and OSA, so people try to at least stop using it early.

That must be some pretty skookum kombucha.

For the amount of alcohol that is typically in kombucha, I wouldn't expect any changes.

If I have more than one real drink, typically my charts look Messed Up (technical medical term).

I have no tolerance for alcohol whatsoever anymore. So even a a little bit in kombucha is significant for me. I'll just trying laying off it after 7PM and see if it makes any difference.
