Hello fellow CpApers.. my question is, how long do you use a nasal pillow or a disposable filter before replacing with a fresh new one? My insurance company was allowing 2 of each a month but now has cut down to one of each per month. I got use to changing them frequently. Their excuse with the cut back is that this is the national standard with replacement supplies. Thoughts please.

I change my filters every 6 months and my silicone cushion when I start having leaks...usually about 6-8 months.(Regardless of what my insurance will supply)

My filters look gray at three weeks, and my leak rate starts getting ugly about the same time.
Between Medicare and my expensive supplement, it's covered.

the frequency you should replace the filters is specified in the manual.
