Sleepy Head software?

Post by footballgirl13 » Sat Feb 21, 2015 12:52 am

God good. It seems I was confusing a CPAP Mask with some kind of software for CPAP. I thought the Sleepy Head software was called Sleep Weaver. Wrong.

What I'm looking for is help with Sleepy Head software. Where can I get it. If I can download it for free on my computer. Can I use it with my PR System One DS660. And is it NOT a free download, how much does it cost.

Thanks

I don't see anything that says "download here". I clicked on "Current Version of SleepyHead" and it took me to some place where it talks about "builds" whatever that is. I just want something that says "download here". Something simple. This link here: http://sleepfiles.com/SH/index.html?TestingVersions is very confusing to me. That is the page that opened up once I clicked on "Current Version of SleepyHead".

I used other website and I can't see to get to the SleepyHead folder or the folder or files are hidden somewhere. I have tried this at least 4 times before using other website and I can never ever OPEN UP the files or even find them. Sometimes it says "Files can not be downloaded". I have not clue what is going on. I'm using Google Chrome and if I was to use IE explorer it would be 64 bit, not sure if that matters or not. I'm not a computer person, so I'm lost.

Go here and get this...it's the 64 bit lasting version. It's my own personal dropbox storage and it is a safe download.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/978 ... -64bit.zip
I compressed/zipped it with the Windows compression...so just right click mouse and choose "extract all".
Once you have it unzipped go into the main folder and scroll all the way down to the bottom till you see the last file...click on it to launch SleepyHead (you may want to place a shortcut to this file some place handy on your desktop).

You likely will get a message about a missing dll file
Go here and click on download button...it will take you to another page where you have to choose from 3 files....choose the middle file ...which is the vcredist 64 file... download to your computer....then go to this download and double click on it and let it install...don't try to put it anywhere other than where it wants to go.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download ... x?id=40784

SleepyHead should launch for you.

Be sure you're not blocking javascript with noscript or something similar. That will screw up that web page.

There's a "help for downloading Sleepyhead" page in the useful links in my signature line below.

Someone please help me. I downloader (or just installed?) This 7 zip thing. I need the sleepyhead stuff extracted and I can't get it out of wherever it is located. It keeps on asking me to install this 7 zip thing and I already did that. I just need this sleepyhead thing. Does anyone know anything about computer in simple terms? I need baby step by step instructions. I see a box after I click on this "[SleepFiles (USA): SleepyHead-Testing-0.9.8-1-Windows-64bit.7z]" and the box at the bottom of my Chrome say "Open" and when I click on "OPEN" it says somewhere weird like "Use IE to find program to open files". I already downloaded 7 zip to open or extract. WHY IS THIS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING HARD TO DO???????????????????????????

Finally, God I found this file that I need. I says this file "Sleepyhead testing bla bla bla" is in my downloads folder. But I don't know what to DO with it. Do I right click on 7 Zip and then EXTRACT? Do I right click on 7 Zip and then "Open Archive"?

Someone help me please. THis is NOT EASY if you don't know computers.

Are you freaking SERIOUS? I come online to get help with a specific CPAP software and you are asking me if there are CHILDREN running around outside in my neighborhood. Are you freaking kidding? Who are you? What are you?

You don't ask something like that. You don't know where I live and you don't know what kind of neighborhood I live in. You don't know if I TRUST the people around here. and NO there are NO CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND OUTSIDE just so you know. And if there was, I would not ask them to come into my house. Are you that silly? Really? Ask complete STRANGERS to come into my house. And children at that? You want the cops at my house?

I don't need some children to help me with this. I just need someone on THIS FREAKING WEBSITE TO HELP ME> You are of No help. If you don't know computers and if you don't know how to help me, then WHY the HELL did you reply to me? I don't get you and why you even replied to me. What a waste of time.

well, I certainly didn't expect to get THAT entertaining of a reply!

of COURSE I'd expect you to ask the parents of aforementioned children if it was ok if their kid came in and showed you how to work your computer.... I certainly NEVER would suggest you abduct a random child off the street and put them to work doing your computer button pushing... I mean, people would talk!

Go to the directory where you put the sleepyheadblahblah.7z file.

Right click and select 7-zip -> Extract here

It should create a new directory called SleepyHeadblabah

Open that directory.

There should be something like

SleepyHead-OpenGL.exe and SleepyHead-BrokenGL.exe in that directory

Double click on SleepyHead-OpenGL.exe.

If you get an error, especially if it mentions OpenGL, try using the SleepyHead-BrokenGL link.

If it works, you will need to right click on the appropriate .exe file, select copy, and then "paste shortcut" into your desktop so that it will be easy to start it next time.

Error. Can't work due to VSVCR something or other. I can't paste the error in here. Oh , it says
MSVCR 120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the. ..

It said this on BOTH broken and open.
