My S9 periodically shuts down and I get an error message saying" Invaild SD car, erase card data". I have an option to erase or not erase the data. I always erase and I'm good to go. Problem is this often happens in the middle of the night. Any suggestions? Should I replace the SD card? What type of replacement card should I buy?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you can use any SD card, it can even be an old generic from a digital camera. You don't need a huge memory on it, either.
