Mask fit help

Post by AmberstUser » Thu Feb 12, 2015 12:25 pm

I'm a newbie and can't seem to get a good fit on my nasal pillow. I tried adding a chin strap but the results are the same, frustrating!

You should get help from the DME where you bought the mask. It may be the wrong size.

Read my blog post on Swift FX fitting tips below in my signature.

You SHOULD have been given a "fit pack" with three sizes of nasal pillows when you got your mask. So you may have to experiment with the other sizes. A chin strap is meant to hold your mouth closed--why do you think it will help your nasal pillow fit?

What are the results you are talking about. Are they leaks that wake you with pillows moving, high AHI, leaks you see in Sleepyhead, not sleeping well? Which nasal pillow? Are you using a data capable machine and monitoring your therapy with Sleepyhead?
