I've been using a full face Resmed Quattro FX since they first came out and it's been the best mask out of all the Resmed ones I've had over the years. It's never been a perfect fit - I'm just too small in the face for the medium (the small is far too tiny) and it tends to leak a little into my eyes but I don't know any of the stats to say how much it leaks but it does. I get replacement face pillows now and then and recently a new headset. Annoyingly the velcro on the straps is slipping and the mask loosens in the night, so much so that my wife tries to readjust it while i sleep. This is the first time I've had the velcro not stick well - no wonder I think as the velcro covered bit is really tiny.
As a UK CPAP patient I get Resmed products free when I'm due so I'm wondering whether to give the Airfit F10 a try rather than order new bits for my Quattro FX. Anyone got any suggestions about either the velcro issue, how big a problem these leaks are and finally any advice on the F10 full face mask?
Another thing is pressure. I'm running "14" I think and I was wondering whether to try going up to 16 as currently the pressure doesn't quite seem enough. I started on "12" I think to begin with...
Thanks for any advice...

Don't know if this will help for you, i.e. velcro.
I recently had the velcro on mine start slipping. I do a variety of things around the house and happened to have some velcro that's about 3/4" wide where the hooks are on one side and the loops on the other.
What the hell. Cut a small piece and after I had adjusted the mask to the size I wanted, I took it off and then looped the velcro piece around the strap. Think of a belt going around your waist. Obviously you want the soft side toward your face, in my case the strap is far enough back the extra piece of velcro doesn't touch my cheeks.
It's only been a few days, but it's holding tight.

I used the Quattro FX FFM (IMO flawed design) for a long time, but now I am big convert to the AirFit F10. If I were you I'd even take money out of pocket just to try it. Naturally everybody's face is different, so your results may vary but it's worth a shot.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Re: Leaky Quattro FX and Self-Unsticking Velcro
I really like my F10; I switched to it from Quattro Air. F10 doesn't have a forehead strap which makes it super comfortable for me. I have not had any trouble with the Velcro... but I should think some strap covers would help that. I have strap pads on the upper part of the headgear (http://www.padacheek.com) but none on the lower part. I never undo the Velcro as the loops go over the hook on the mask which makes that unnecessary and this could be helping the Velcro keep its ability to hold. I have been using F10 since shortly after it came out... a little over 6 months I think, with the same headgear. Velcro does lose its usefulness over time, especially if you hook and hook it regularly.
