Which machine
I get my cpap machine on Thursday. The Dr ordered it for me and my insurance company covered the whole cost. When I asked the receptionist why they ordered that particular one and if there is a difference she could not tell me. She said they ordered the one that would help me the most. Since I am new to this I have lots of questions. Which machines seem to be the quietist and most portable. I travel quite a bit and am very active. Does it matter which machine I get?

Yes...It matters. Why don't you tell us what machine they gave you and we will tell you if it is a good one.

Do !!!NOT!!! let the doctor choose your CPAP machine or supplier for you. The doctor chooses the type of therapy and pressure, not the machine.
If you leave it up to the doctor, you may get a poor machine from the doctor's "buddy." You want a fully data capable machine that empowers you as a patient to monitor your therapy.

If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check for yourself.
