Full face mask

Post by Eileen cd » Wed Feb 04, 2015 4:32 pm

I have used the simplicity nasal and nasal pillow masks for years but lately I am opening my mouth when I sleep and wake up with a sore throat. I am a side sleeper and I need some suggestions for a lightweight full face mask.

Personally, I have only been able to tolerate the Quattro FX and recently have switched to the Air FIt F10, which is even lighter and more comfortable. Both don't have forehead support, which I enjoy. I could never get the ones with forehead support to stop leaking.

I have used the F10 as a side sleeper without too many issues. Many also like the F&P Simplus and Resmed Quattro Air. Both are newer minimal designs but have the forehead support, which the F10 doesn't. The F10 and Quattro Air use the same cushion.

I will add that for me a Cpap pillow like the cpapmax or similar was a big plus for using the F10 on my side. I don't use it anymore without the pillow. The cutout keeps the upper side part of the mask from touching the pillow and moving the cushion when you shift. Best of luck.

Best,

Mike
