I keep my thermostat at 62 degrees. 64 degrees is tropical. If the machine is at room temperature you should be fine.

Re: Ending up with the right mask

Ending up with the right mask is easier said than done. I think I read a post recently where the author said he/she discarded 14 masks before settling on one that was satisfactory. As a newbie yet to don my first mask, I would be curious in hearing the answers to two questions from you experienced ...

Re: Forced by job to get testing and CPAP I don't need..

Hello recently my employer decided they want to test their overweight people for sleep apnea. I am being forced into the testing since I am fat. I have no symptoms of sleep apnea.. I sleep perfectly each night and wake up with full energy as long as I had gotten between 6-8 hours of sleep.. (I norm...

Re: Poll: What Mask type do you use?

Curious what is most popular. Also please feel free to post specific mask as well if you wish. I use the Zzz-Mask Full Face CPAP Mask by Probasics. I like that it does not have the forehead support, and more then anything else I like the price $59(cpap.com). Compared the price to Resmed masks this ...

Compared the price to Resmed masks this mask is half price, and the replacement cushions are about half also. The mask works well for me...

Re: xPAP still a disaster

I use a bi-pap with high pressure 23/19. The only way I was able to successfully plug up the leaks is with liners. I started with the rem-zzz's liners and then made my own from that point forward. I use the z-mask by Probasics. I like that it has NO forehead support and the on our cpap.com they are ...

Re: Is A "Perfect Score" Attainable?

I have been on CPAP therapy for about 2 months now. Mainly through this site, I have found how to improve my therapy with adjustments/features to the point that I now have almost perfect numbers. It's been weeks since I have had either a CA or obstructive airway apnea. I have a smattering of hypone...

Re: is AHI under 15 a reasonable goal?

NO that is NOT reasonable. remember that means you stopped breathing for 10 seconds or longer. Not good.

Take 15 minutes and review this youtube video:

Then you will understand why you don't want 15 AHI.
