Thanks for your input and ideas. You are welcome to make as many suggestions as you like.

So, again, welcome. There is no cover charge here--not even a one-drink minimum. Hang out, see who wanders in, and if you see anyone who looks lost or like he or she needs a helping hand, feel free to be helpful. The cool thing about here is that you don't have to wander from room to room--you can see everyone in the whole place from your one barstool, which swivels to see every corner of the room from that one place. It's kinda cool, once you get the hang of it.

PS : while a little wordy, eclectic and just generally the kind of thing that nobody reads .. (sad) this represents(by far) the best argument for the debate.

I hope jnk takes some of these people to that really organized forum when he goes. They will so love him for it. I hear they just restructured it making it even more organized and user friendly.

I never read what I write. I find what I write to be mostly trite, pretentious, asinine, boring drivel. (Ooh, I like the way that sounded--I should write that down! Oh, wait, I just did! Never mind. What was I talking about? Oh yeah, ME.) It is much more fun to write it than it is to read it, trust me.

Yes! Many, many categories! Many!

If we are going to be post-modern, and catch up to cool people, we will need MANY categories. In fact, I think WE NEED A 1-TO-1 RELATIONSHIP between categories and threads!

So - each new thread that someone starts will also get it's own category! Then, to streamline administration, we can either:

a) have the topic of the thread ALSO be the name of the category, so that you can just click through a few times to get to teh actual thread, or

3) generate a 47-digit random number/string, that the person wishing to view the topic of the thread has to type, from memory, to get access (for security reasons. new members will be issues a WWII code book and be required to memorize the 600+ pages of random numbers.)


Plus, one mega-category:

-G-L-O-R-I-A-
