Encore Pro acting up again...dropped data

This is twice in the last week or two that I have my hours slept, but not much else. I wonder what is going on.

I went for summary details until I saw there were none. I closed out the program, pulled my Smart Card out and went back into the program again.
I did NOT reboot the computer, as other programs seem to be working in a normal fashion.

I put my smartcard back in, downloaded last night's data again.

Full Details for last night........
Patient, Referring Physician, PCP, and basic hours of compliance are ok.

The bottom half of page one may or may not be normal, as I don't pay any
attention to it most of the time. It DOES show my Min/Max/90% EPAP and IPAP parameters.

Patterns of use shows 8+46 of sleep.

Page 3: All the graphs on the left side list parameters, but the boxes on the right side have data in them.

Only 5 pages, I thought it was six day??

Any ideas? This machine is ....reliabe most of the time, it certainly did the important thing, and to me, that is allow me to sleep all night and feel good when I get up. But the data can be important. Luckily I slept great last night, so the data lost (if any) is not a major problem.

Suggestions? Ideas about the data loss? Or was there any real data loss?

Did the program merely fail to populate the entire report correctly?

That is, did the program get all the data, just not distribute the data to each segment of itself like it normally does? AFTER READING THE DATA, DO YOU THINK THIS IS ALL THE DATA I NORMALLY GET, JUST NOT DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE REPORT LIKE USUAL??

ODD.....I just took my card reader from my desktop computer, plugged it into my laptop, downloaded the info and all of it is there.

Must be a glitch in the system with my desktop. I ordered another card reader, so I won't be plugging and un-plugging them.

But if you have any ideas about the other download, I would still appreciate hearing them.

I boot the computer up with the card reader already plugged in. After it is 100% ready to go, I put my card in and download. I have even considered using grounding straps due to the static discharges. (All of my electronic gear is grounded to an 8 ft copper rod inside a 3 inch PVC pipe with holes drilled in it and rock salt around the copper rod. I am a ham operator and run up to 1500 watts about 6 ft from my computer. So I try hard to avoid static discharges.

PS...my wife can't understand why her shrubs in that corner die all the time.
Sheer cowardice keeps me from telling her.
