Re: centrals / worth switching to APAP?

I do have mixed feelings about the cymbalta. I had been burned out, tired and anxious for years before I started treatment of any kind. And then I started the full dosage of cymbalta and the CPAP at about the same time, so there hasn't really been a controlled experiment. Mentally, I feel WAY better than I have in a long time, which could be due to therapy too, and other physical symptoms related to that problem have subsided. Still, I feel that that dr has too much faith in these meds and I don't want to be on them forever regardless.
As I mentioned, I'm trying different things and ruling out others. So, I posted here to see whether anyone had ideas on trying to improve the sleep therapy part of it (and whether the dreams and event clusters at the end of the night -- be the central or otherwise -- were really a problem in the 1st place).
Thanks.
[ETA: Of course, I have much less of a headache today, having had an AHI of 1.5. No cluster toward the end of the night, but my sleep was broken up into 5 hrs sleep, 1 awake to eat breakfast with my wife, and then 2 add'l hours of sleep. Seems that sometimes I do better that way.]
