Nobody would mistake diaper rash ointment for what I'd already told her, either: "Lansinoh, which is a salve used by nursing moms to help with chapped nipples." Then again, I have noticed a real lack of reading comprehension lately - both here and in online comments elsewhere.

I just happen to think the word 'titty' is a fun, playful word. I could have used the term 'bewb' which a female friend of mine in her forty's prefers to use.

it probably won't be the last time as pugsy said, I'm a bit like her husband in that I tend to joke around until I miss a line and step in it.

someone else referred to it as "bag balm for humans" though, I've bag balm on my hands, and have recommended it to others

LOL well being raised in suburbia, I had no idea which "bag" that referred to until well into my teens. And a good friend bought me a small tin of bag balm when I was struggling to nurse my daughter, and we both had a good laugh!

IMO, "titty" is a juvenile term, and we're supposed to be adults here. That's all. It wouldn't surprise me to hear a horny teenaged boy use the word, but I think it's crass when it comes from a grown man.

So, last night I got to try all three pillows, S, M, L. Small was too small, leaked all the way around. Large was not as oversized as I imagined, and it took care of the subtle "whoosh" I hadn't realized I'd been getting with the M. In fact, I woke up around 4am when my daughter (7) climbed in with me, and I had to feel my face to be sure I was still wearing it!!! What a difference!! I still have a good sized acne breakout going on but I'm managing that during the day with warm compresses and herbal blemish treatment, and it gave me almost no trouble when donning the mask last night. I think I can do this!!!

So I just recently got my Cpap machine and have the Nasal Pillow Nuance Pro mask. I wash the pillows with warm water and mild soap and let air dry before putting on, I have cleaned the house and aired it out. I can not stop breaking out on my nose and having sore nostrils. I wash my face every night with an apricot scrub and it does no good. I apply carmex around the bottom of my nostrils for some protection at night before applying the mask, and that does not help with the soreness. Any advice?

Goomba, I think your facial cleansing regimen is the source of your trouble! Apricot scrub is for exfoliating once, maybe twice a week, so by scrubbing daily you're irritating and drying the skin around your nose, causing it to overproduce oil. And applying carmex is not only adding insult to injury with the menthol, it's not all that great for the pillow mask as I believe it's petroleum based. Mild soap and water, along with a non-petroleum ointment at bedtime, is what I've done to clear up my breakouts.
