You are correct. I really messed up the math.
My new computation, based on $.11 per Kwh, is about $1.60 per month.
And that is assuming the full 70 watts is pulled all of the time.
As another poster mentioned, the real average draw is more like 30 watts getting to maybe $.75 per month.

Kill-a-watt is a great tool. I used it to figure how much my distilled water costs to make.
