Let me look through my data to find an appropriate data set that shows the timed breath and the large leak indicators.
Probably tomorrow.
I haven't seen any pressure pulses in the data.
I'll drop it in the mail.
I assume you want matching files .001, etc.

Here is a snippet of large leak and timed breaths. Don't know that I have seen pressure pulses. I am also willing to provide the raw data if it would help but could use some guidance locating the files.

I'm fairly sure what I'm reporting in SleepyHead as Pressure Pulse on ASV machines is in fact the Timed Breath marker.. has anyone observed pressure pulse as well?
Edit: Perhaps PP something that only happens in CPAP mode on ASV machines?

should be able to generate some just by taking the mask off.... I know the lesser machines pulse several times before shutting off if autooff is enabled, I don't know if they pulse if autooff is disabled.

Pressure pulses are only generated by the PR 960 if it is operated in APAP or CPAP modes (which it almost never is). In ASV mode it generates timed breaths only. From a quick experiment tonight (breath holding), I can confirm that 'pressure pulses' do show as red squares on Encore Pro and that they are not shown at all in Sleepyhead as Jedimark probably already knows.
Hope this is useful.

ian,
How does one get the 960 into either APAP or CPAP modes?

I've added in a new channel for Timed Breath into SleepyHead..
For completeness sake, I'm going to need someone to record a short CPAP (& APAP if the mode is present) sessions on an ASV machine, and send me the resulting .001 and .002 files to see if it reuses the same code (0x04) for Pressure Pulse.
One more thing, can someone define a "Timed Breath" for me in a short helpful string I can use for tooltips?

APAP mode can be entered on the 960 by adjusting the PS Max to zero in the clinicians menu (APAP mode does not exist on the 950). CPAP mode can be entered by setting the PS MAX to zero and, in addition, setting the EPAP Max and EPAP Min to be the same number.
I would be happy to contribute data later, once I have worked out how to do it!

I am blown away by how many of you have stepped into action to fine tune this app. I am in awe and thankful for this board.

Here is the short test session for the 960 running in APAP/CPAP mode and the 2 cmH2O pressure pulses induced by a breath hold apnea. I enclose the comparative Sleepyhead and Encore Pro charts. Sleepyhead does not currently register the pressure pulses or the 'obstructive' apnea that result.

Would this 3 minute session be enough to give you what you need regarding the codes ? If so I would need some guidance as to how to get the data from Sleepyhead to you.
